This qualification is intended to provide learners with a broad introduction to the Health and Social Care sector, equipping learners with underpinning knowledge and skills specific to the sector alongside a range of transferable employability skills.

Learners will be required to complete a baseline assessment, interview and provide evidence of working at an appropriate level.

This qualification has been designed for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
The qualification purpose is to give learners knowledge and understanding and an introduction to the skills required in Health and Social Care to support progression to further study at a higher level. -

This qualification will be timetabled 4 Days a week, from 9.00 – 17.00.
Students will be expected to have A4 lined paper, pens and pencils and a ring binder.
