This course is intended to provide learners with a broad introduction to the building and construction sector, equipping learners with underpinning knowledge and skills specific to the sector alongside a range of transferable employability skills as well as bitesize English and Maths units.
The course is designed to support progression to further learning and ultimately to work in building and construction or other related sectors.

- Bricklaying Skills
- Construct a Timber Product
- Painting Skills
- Pipework Skills.

Learners will be required to complete a baseline assessment, interview and provide evidence of working at an appropriate level.

This qualification has been designed for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
This course prepares learners to progress to a qualification in the same sector or a related area at a higher level or requiring more specific knowledge, skills and understanding. -

This qualification will be timetabled 4 - 5 Days a week, from 9.00 – 17.00.
Students will be expected to have A4 lined paper, pens and pencils and a ring binder.
