Entry requirements
You should have an interest in the subject area you are applying for. There are no formal entry requirements but we will assess your level of English and maths to make sure you are working at Entry Level 3 or above. This is to ensure you are able to meet the course requirements.

Who is the course for?
This course is for students who need to improve their maths skills in order to progress to GCSE and further study or to a career.
We will assess your skills at the information and enrolment sessions to make sure the course is right for you.
Things to bring with you:
Proof of residency (Passport /Home Office documents)
Exam certificates/results
The course may be free depending on your status and we will check this with you.
Please note that enrolment could take approximately one hour. -
Study methods
Students are taught as a group for two hours per week. They should also do a substantial amount of homework. Lessons are on currently on Monday 9:30 and 11:30 and 12pm to 2 pm. The time and day for next year will be confirmed in the interview

How is the course assessed?
Exams can take place in Jan, March, May, June and July. You have opportunity to pass the exam in one of these sessions. Final dates will be confirmed during the course.

More information
You will need a scientific calculator, a ruler, compasses, a protractor, pens and pencils. No A4 folder and writing pad, pen, pencil, rubber, ruler and calculator.
