  • Entry requirements

    There are no formal entry requirement however, you will be required to complete an assessment and interview to check whether this course is suitable for you.
    To successfully receive a course offer, you will need to pass the initial assessment. After passing the initial assessment, you will be offered a place in the introductory period of the course (the first 6 weeks starting in September) during which time you will be assessed again to secure a permanent place on the course.

  • Who is the course for?

    This course is for students who need to improve their maths skills in order to progress to Level 1 or 2 or GCSE and further study.

  • Study methods

    Students are taught as a group for 2 hours per week. They should also do a substantial amount of homework. Lessons are on Tuesday between 5 pm and 7pm. The time and day for next year will be confirmed in the interview

  • How is the course assessed?

    Exams can take place in Jan, March, May, June and July. You have opportunity to pass the exam in one of these sessions. Final dates will be confirmed during the course
