The English Department at Harrow College hosted a series of exclusive writing workshops for students from the department, over the course of November.  The workshops took place at the Harrow on the Hill campus.

The first two Academic Writing sessions were conducted by acclaimed crime writer, Leigh Russel. Russel is an award winning published writer and Royal Literary Fellow, and the author of the internationally bestselling crime series featuring police detective Geraldine Steel.

The workshops were attended by Part Time and Full Time students who are currently doing English GCSE and Functional skills courses at Harrow on the Hill, and were focused on the academic style of writing which is hugely beneficial for the students who are planning to go to university.

The pictures below show the highlights from the sessions. Students really enjoyed themselves and had tonnes of questions for Leigh Russel about her story and her writing inspirations.
