Name our Salon!
Our College Hair and Beauty salons were completely transformed after a successful makeover last summer. Therefore, the Hair and Beauty Department have decided to give the salon’s name and brand a makeover as well!
Your task is to come up with a new name and marketing slogan for the salon which, if selected, will be used as the salon name on signage and promotional activities going forward!
When choosing a name and slogan, please keep in mind the following:
- Does the intended name and slogan describe what we do?
- Will people understand what our service is about?
- Are the name and slogan rooted in a value our brand stands for?
- Are they catchy and memorable?
- Do they infringe on another brand’s name?
Extra Credit
If you’re really hoping to make an impression, and to set yourself apart from the rest of the crowd, we welcome you to create a 30 second promotional video advert incorporating your chosen name and slogan for the new salon. Be as creative and stylish in your direction/cinematography as you can!
Prize
- The winner will see their winning name and slogan being used on the salon and all promotional material
- Be invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony of the newly rebranded Salon
- Be presented with a certificate and Amazon voucher worth £50
- Enjoy an indulgent free treatment of their choice at the salon!

- Any Student from Harrow College can participate in the competition
- There are no limitations on the number of entries you can submit
- You can submit as a group entry
- The winner agrees that the College group (HRUC) owns the right to use the salon name in all regards including publicity and promotion.
