Harrow College has welcomed a party of international visitors (18 October 2017) as part of a programme designed to promote further learning about the UK education system.
The group, comprising of students and teachers, specifically requested for Harrow College to be the focus of their trip. The visit was a great opportunity for the party from the Gesamtschule Velbert-Mitte School, approximately 20 km from Dusseldorf, to gain an insight into the differences and similarities between the two countries.
During their visit, the students mingled with their counterparts from Harrow College and participated in classes including media, IT, English and Business. They listened intently to a presentation by Harrow College staff about the UK education system and specific practices within the college.
Mrs Susanne Wichman-Boehme, one of the teachers from the visiting German group, said:
“Our students were really delighted with the classes they have visited and this visit will have a lasting impression on all my students."
