Business Studies EXPO
The Business School EXPO event "Eco Enterprise" took place on Wednesday 9th Nov 2022 and was a huge success. All Business students took part and pitched eco-friendly or sustainable start-up business ideas to guests including CEO Ketan Dattani from local business Buckingham Futures.
The students' business concepts and creativity were impressive and inspiring and Ketan, who works regularly with the Harrow College Business School sharing his experience and insight, was wowed by the experience: "It is always so invigorating to see young people interested in changing their behaviors to become more sustainable in their day-to-day lives - a complete contrast to when I was at college. Sadly Environmental matters were not of any significance in the 1980s and people always looked at me peculiarly whenever I tried to talk about climate change, pollution, environmental degradation, and resource depletion. The eco-friendly/sustainable business pitches were impressive and the students' motivation and creativity were exemplary."
