Year 2 UAL Extended Diploma Architecture, Interior and Product Design students at Harrow College have created an eye-catching window Installation for Foxton’s Estate Agency in Harrow Town centre.
The project introduces the students to a variety of new computer based design skills. The project began when Katie Hendra, Head of Content and Brand Marketing at Foxton’s briefing the students and asking them to design festive decorations for the main window at Foxton’s branch in Harrow town centre. The decorations had to be relevant to Foxtons brand and had to explore the theme of what ‘home’ means to the students.
John Wischhusen, Lecturer in Creative Arts and Multimedia at Harrow College said:
“This project allows our students to put their knowledge and skills into practice. Working to a live business brief gives our students an insight into the industry and helps to prepare them for careers they may pursue in the future. The project has been a great success and we hope the public enjoy it”.
The class worked very hard to finish the project by the deadline and Foxtons will be giving a £150 prize to their favourite decoration.
