The ICT (Information and Communications Technology) department at Harrow College have held a farewell presentation event for some of their leaving students.
BTEC IT Year 2 students who completed their course earlier this summer returned to their old stomping ground to enjoy the company of people who have become so familiar with them over the past few years.
The fun filled afternoon included lots of food and refreshments, guest speakers and of course lots of catching up with friends and staff.
Students were awarded with their BTEC qualification certificates before taking lots of photographs and exchanging contact details. The event ensured students received a fitting send off to their time at Harrow College.
One of the students in attendance was Amaan Aslam. He said;
I’ve been here for 2 years and these have been the best two years of my life! It’s down to my teachers that I’m now going to the University of East Anglia to study Computer Science.
Sultan Soukani, Senior Curriculum Manager for ICT & Business said;
It was great to see our BTEC IT Year 2 leaving students return for this special certificate presentation event. Today has been a wonderful occasion and a great way to say goodbye. We wish them the very best of luck in their new adventures.
