In this course you you will find out more about science through personal investigations, as well as having the opportunity to carry out practical and class work.

Course content includes:
- Principles and applications of Science - a mixture of the fundamental underpinning concepts used in science
- Practical scientific procedures and techniques - developing practical skills that form the route of techniques used in the industry
- Scientific investigation skills - supporting the development of the scientific process
- Electrical circuits and their applications - enabling practitioners to build and use electronic circuits.

Entry requirements
5 x GCSEs grade 9-4 (grade A - C) including English and Maths (science will be an advantage too) or a relevant Level 2 qualification at Merit or above.
Students who have 4 x GCSEs grade 9-4 (grade A - C) including English and Maths should apply and will be interviewed. -
Who is the course for?
This is a full-time programme for students who want to study applied sciences with an emphasis on Biomedical Science.
