Football Academy Trials with QPR | 10 April

Harrow College is proud to deliver its Football Academy for 16-18 year olds with Queens Park Rangers FC.

We provide talented young sports people with the opportunity to develop their prospects of a career in football while continuing with their education.

Trials take place at:
Bannister Sports Centre, Uxbridge Road, Harrow, HA3 6SW.

 Please bring the following things with you to the trial:

• Footwear suitable for 3g Astro Turf
• Trainers
• Full sports kit suitable for an outdoor session
• Plenty of fluids
• Shower toiletries and towel
• Shin guards

Please report for the trial 15 minutes before the trial start time.

About the Harrow College and QPR Football Academy

Qualified coaches from QPR will lead two coaching sessions a week and prepare students for their weekly matches against other academy sides throughout the season.

The programme provides the most up to date, comprehensive and high quality training for 16-18 year old males and females wishing to break into the football industry. Study and qualifications gained can also lead to opportunities in the following fields: 

• Professional sports person
• Coaching
• Sports Therapy
• Fitness Industry
• Leisure Management
• Teaching
• Higher Education
• Overseas Scholarships.

Our Football Academy provides you with a programme of football training while you work on a full-time course of academic study. You will also participate in games in the British Colleges Sport League, ECFA London.

Our Football Academy course is the OCR Level 2 Cambridge Technical Diploma in Sport - Football Academy 
This course is for males and females with a proven playing ability selected at trials, who seek a first class education and hold 4 GCSE at grade 4/5 preferably including English and/or maths or a Merit on a relevant level 1 qualification.
